Multimedia Keynote Presentations

Rik Leaf is a Canadian TV, Video & Music Producer, Recording Artist, Slam Poet, Published author and the Chief Creative Officer for Tribe of One, a national collective of indigenous and settler artists.

Rik's programs and presentations are inspired by 20 years of creative collaboration on TV shows, film sets, in recording studios and as part of production teams for Beauty & the Beast, Rent, Metallica, Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bryan Adams, and Tribe of One.

He specializes in providing solutions to racism, bigotry and bullying using creativity to instil confidence in students and to develop safe and supportive cultures in schools. Rik has collaborated with the United Nations, UNESCO, the Foreign Affairs Department of Canada and War Child Canada and travels across Canada working with thousands of students and indigenous communities each year.

Creative Development On The Front Lines

Rik's ideas are inspired by the work he is currently doing. Each year he produces a limited number of creative development workshops in communities across Canada. These productions involve thousands of individuals from dozens of organizations. The multimedia videos produced through these training sessions garner thousands of views and regularly attract media attention.

Four Homeless Millionaires

How One Family Found Riches By Leaving Everything Behind, is an inspiring story of risk-taking and creative adventure that follows the unforgettable, and hilarious adventures from the year Rik and his wife Zara and their two children sold their house and toured the world.

Sharing The Stories of Creative Peers & Mentors

As the Producer & Host of the Artist Next Door TV series, Rik shares inspiring stories and insights from award-winning artists, photojournalists, political cartoonists, children’s illustrators, punk rock painters, filmmakers, luthiers, fiddlers and Taiko drummers he has interviewed.
